The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre collaborates with arts and cultural groups and community partners to promote and develop local Chinese culture. Through engaging and accessible content, we hope to nurture greater appreciation of our multi-cultural identity and a stronger sense of belonging.
Opened by our Patron, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 19 May 2017, our Centre in the heart of city welcomes everyone to enjoy exhibitions, fairs, performances, seminars, talks, workshops and other cultural activities throughout the year.

Changi Chapel And Museum

The newly revamped Changi Chapel and Museum (CCM) features new content and artefacts presented in an intimate and engaging format to tell the story of the prisoners of war and civilians interned in Changi prison camp during the Japanese Occupation. As part of the revamp, the National Museum of Singapore which manages CCM has been collecting stories and personal objects from families of former internees that emphasise their personal experiences. The museum’s narrative is centred on remembrance and reflection, encouraging visitors to contemplate both the hardships that the internees underwent, as well as their courage and resilience in the face of difficulties.

Vintage Camera Museum

The Vintage Camera’s Museum, itself is set in the form of a camera, and the entry is shaped like a lens. There are around 1000 cameras on display right from replicas of the world’s biggest camera – the mammoth camera to the latest technological gadget, an 11-gram camera. Some of the other unique cameras which can be viewed in the museum are a walking stick camera, spy cameras, pigeon cameras, 3D cameras, and pistol cameras to name a few. Besides, the museum also has on display, a rare collection of photographs featuring interesting facets about photography including an authentic replica of the first-ever photograph taken. Through immersive environments, interactive programming, exciting themes and diverse objects, children can widen their horizons and appreciate our country and world around them in fun and multisensory ways that encourage exploration and imagination. Children can experience the museum through play, interacting with the exhibits, and engaging with others. Children will develop life skills, including social and emotional skills, motor skills, aesthetics and creative expression, and language and literacy.

The Peranakan Museum is a museum and gallery in the Museum district of Singapore that specialises in the country's Peranakan culture. It is the sister museum of the Asian Civilisations Museum. Conceived in 2006, it is the only museum of its kind in the world, exploring the history of Peranakan cultures in Singapore as well as other Peranakan communities in Southeast Asia. It is housed at the Old Tao Nan School building on Armenian Street, which once served as an extended wing to the artefact collection of the Asian Civilisations Museum.
