The Vintage Camera’s Museum, itself is set in the form of a camera, and the entry is shaped like a lens. There are around 1000 cameras on display right from replicas of the world’s biggest camera – the mammoth camera to the latest technological gadget, an 11-gram camera. Some of the other unique cameras which can be viewed in the museum are a walking stick camera, spy cameras, pigeon cameras, 3D cameras, and pistol cameras to name a few. Besides, the museum also has on display, a rare collection of photographs featuring interesting facets about photography including an authentic replica of the first-ever photograph taken. Visit us to witness the unique experience to learn about the transformation and the untold story of cameras.

Former Ford Factory

The Ford Motor Company which was first established in Singapore at Anson Road in 1926, moved to its new state-of-the-art factory located at Upper Bukit Timah Road in October 1941. The Art Deco factory became Ford’s first motorcar assembly plant in Southeast Asia. The factory was later taken over by the Royal Air Force during the Malayan Campaign (8 December 1941 – 31 January 1942) where it was used to assemble fighter planes. However, the planes were hastily moved away from Singapore towards the end of January 1942, when it became clear that victory was unlikely. The Former Ford Factory was restored by the National Archives of Singapore and currently houses a permanent World War II exhibition on the war and its legacies.

Fort Canning Heritage Gallery

The Fort Canning Heritage Gallery traces more than 700 years of history to provide park visitors with an informative and in-depth overview of the rich heritage of Fort Canning Hill. The gallery is divided into five zones (an introduction zone and four themed zones) spread out over two levels of the south wing of Fort Canning Centre. Each zone is themed according to a particular aspect or role that the historic Fort Canning Hill played in the broader history of Singapore. The gallery features archaeological artefacts excavated from sites within Fort Canning Park and multiple digital interactive stations. Content from the Singapore Bicentennial centerpiece event in 2019 has also been repurposed into a cinematic experience in the gallery. Visitors can now watch a condensed version of the ‘From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience’ video in a mini-theatrette at the gallery. A full set of the costume worn by actors playing Sang Nila Utama from the Singapore Bicentennial is also on display together with the film. The gallery is free for the public and is open daily from 10.00am to 6.00pm. It is closed on the last Monday of the month for maintenance.

Fort Siloso

Inside the fort is the Surrender Chamber, in which are displays of the British Surrender in February 1942, and of the Japanese Surrender at City Hall in September 1945. Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall

Restored to its original neo-classical 1905 structure, Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall is one of Singapore’s oldest performing arts venues. First established in 1862, the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Singapore. The heritage building located in the heart of the city’s Civic District contains a 614-seat Theatre and a 673-seat Concert Hall. In 2010, the national monument underwent a four-year refurbishment to restore its neo-classical façade while getting new state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. The redevelopment also saw the addition of two smaller rooms for music, dance and theatre rehearsals. Having played a role in the country’s history for over 150 years, the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall continues to be an exciting mid-sized platform, supporting the growth of Singapore’s arts industry.
